Keith's Bio
My wife, JoAnn and I are best friends and we met when we were both students at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va.; it was called Liberty Baptist College or LBC at that time. We attended a Spring Banquet, (Liberty didn’t allow dances back then) and we were seated at the same table, I was with my date and she was with hers, and all I could think was, “man I wish I could trade places with that guy.” A few months later, we both landed spots on one of the LBC traveling teams, she was a singer and I was one of the tech guys. Over that year of travel, we got to know one another and eventually started dating. After college, we were married, and we now have four adult children and eleven grandchildren. You should come and hear the noise in our house on Friday nights when we all get together. Personally, I enjoy hiking, backpacking, camping and travel (when I can do it) but mostly hanging out with my grandkids, dancing and singing (we allow dancing in my house) and generally being a big kid with a bunch of little kids keeps me young at heart. As a pastor, drilling deeply into the Word of God and then sharing the nuggets of golden truth that I find there with those hungry for the Bread of Life is an honor and a passion that burns deep inside. Jesus is the best thing that has ever happened to me and He commands my heart from first to last. He gave me my family and the church I pastor, and I could not be more grateful.
